Montepluciano 2014

Like several of the other red varieties, the Montepulciano is very responsive to the long, slow ripening periods afforded by vintage in the Barossa. An Italian grape variety by origin, Montepulciano is an intensely coloured variety, with a deep, almost purple hue. The wine itself has an elegance, with layered dark fruits, spice, oak and tannin. Rich, with plenty of character, this wine will last for years to come.
